Future Works

1) Concerto for Bass Trombone and Wind Ensemble; for George Curran, Bass Trombonist with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Central Michigan University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, John E. Williamson, conductor. The work will be in three movements and will be titled, "Vital Signs of Planet Earth".

2) "Crossover", a large band work for the University of Central Arkansas inspired by Eben Alexander's book, "Proof of Heaven".

3) Sonata for Euphonium and Piano; for Chris McGinty, University of North Texas. (title TBA)

New works for band

1) McMinnville High School Band, McMinnville, Oregon. Jeff Hornick, Director. The work, "While the Dew is Still on the Roses" is in memory of Jeff Hornick's Grandmother who was the granddaughter of Mary Ellen Gillingham-Peckham, sister of Asbury Wellington Gillingham, David Gillingham's Great Gandfather. The work is based on two old American Hymn tunes, "Softley and Tenderly Jesus is Calling" and "In the Garden".
